Ally McCrory

Owner and Instructor 

Ally completed her 200 RYT at Brooke Hamblet's Teacher Training School, and has also completed Level One conducted by Baron Baptiste, Outreach Yoga Training, Art of Assisting, Xen Strength Weighted Yoga,  Yoga Shred with Sadie Nardini, Yoga for Women and Pregnancy Workshop, Cyndi Lee Restorative Yoga Training and workshops taught by Rodney Yee. Yoga has been instrumental in understanding how my body works with my mind. I love the connection between the two and learning how yoga improves our physical bodies.

I am a yoga and pilates instructor who believes in the power of breath and movement to bring you back to yourself. Yoga and Pilates have become such a meaningful part of my life, and I love sharing that passion with others. My classes are a space to come home to yourself, to feel stronger, more confident, and supported. Some of the things I love: spending time with my fur babies, matcha and coffee dates, all things health and wellness, riding my horse, being in the sunshine, running my boutique, traveling, and so much more.

As a former dancer, I’ve always found confidence through movement. My intention is to create classes that feel energizing, empowering, and welcoming for every student in the room. I love guiding people to challenge themselves, move with purpose, and build strength both physically and mentally. Expect uplifting energy, thoughtfully curated music, and to leave class feeling stronger, more confident, and more connected to yourself. Fun fact: The first yoga class I ever took, I was 11 and Ally was the one teaching

I have practiced yoga on and off over the years, but I was invited by a friend to yoga a year ago and quickly fell in love, finding both balance and a supportive community at Pav. With a background in kinesiology and nursing, I have spent over 10 years teaching fitness classes and am now focusing my practice on yoga after teacher training. Outside the studio, I enjoy time with my husband, two kids, Hayden and Hadley, and my dogs, Cru and Charli!

 I've always loved fitness and being healthy, moving from a dancer to a dance teacher and then an aerobics instructor. The connection between the mind, body, and soul has been an integral part of my life. However, several years ago, a busy working and personal life took over, and I set the rest aside. Feeling that something important was missing, I searched for a place to balance my life where I could feel peace in this chaotic world. Then it happened when I stepped into the wonderful community at Pav and, not only discovered yoga, but also a beautiful community of love and support. What an incredible journey this has been! Through yoga and the amazing people at Pav, I have rediscovered balance in my life, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. This has truly been a transformative experience, and I hope to help others in their journey. When I'm not practicing yoga, I'm spending time with my daughter, working in my garden, hanging out with my dogs, and teaching high school and college courses.

I started practicing yoga 6 years ago with no prior experience and quickly fell in love with it. As someone with scoliosis who once struggled with back pain, the physical benefits were incredible—but even more meaningful have been the mental and emotional ones. Yoga has become an almost daily grounding practice for me. I’m passionate about building community, celebrating what our bodies are capable of, and cultivating gratitude both on and off the mat. When I’m not practicing, you can find me baking sourdough, reading, or spending time with my dogs, friends, and family. I can’t wait to meet you on your mat!

I have practiced yoga for decades, off and on, to balance and support my running and workout routines. Yoga has helped me not only physically but also mentally and emotionally. I have always felt a pull to teach and share those benefits with others. When I was invited to practice at Pav, I knew I had found the right place and right time. The Pav community is like no other studio I have been to. I’m so happy to be a part of it.
