Yoga & Pilates

Ally completed her 200 RYT at Brooke Hamblet's Teacher Training School, and has also completed Level One conducted by Baron Baptiste, Outreach Yoga Training, Art of Assisting, Xen Strength Weighted Yoga,  Yoga Shred with Sadie Nardini, Yoga for Women and Pregnancy Workshop, Cyndi Lee Restorative Yoga Training and workshops taught by Rodney Yee. Yoga has been instrumental in understanding how my body works with my mind. I love the connection between the two and learning how yoga improves our physical bodies.

Yoga

“I have been practicing yoga for 12 years, but truly fell in love with the practice when I discovered hot yoga in 2016! Yoga has done wonders for my mental health and has been the perfect counterpart to weightlifting and riding horses. I would describe my practice as playful and empowering, and I can’t wait to share that with my fellow Pavians! One of my favorite quotes is “It’s a yoga practice, not a yoga perfect.” Outside of the studio, I spend my time barrel racing, reading, or hanging out with my husband and our Vizsla puppy!”

Yoga

I've always loved fitness and being healthy, moving from a dancer to a dance teacher and then an aerobics instructor. The connection between the mind, body, and soul has been an integral part of my life. However, several years ago, a busy working and personal life took over, and I set the rest aside. Feeling that something important was missing, I searched for a place to balance my life where I could feel peace in this chaotic world. Then it happened when I stepped into the wonderful community at Pav and, not only discovered yoga, but also a beautiful community of love and support. What an incredible journey this has been! Through yoga and the amazing people at Pav, I have rediscovered balance in my life, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. This has truly been a transformative experience, and I hope to help others in their journey. When I'm not practicing yoga, I spend time with my daughter, work in my garden, hang out with my dogs, and teach high school and college courses.

Yoga

Hi! I signed up for my first yoga class about 20 years ago as a college student and quickly dropped it for something else! A few years later, I was sprinting through a very stressful career, tired, anxious, sick, stressed-out and completely burned out. I found my dusty mat and I gave it another try. Except, I left before shavasana each time because I felt I didn’t have time to be still for 5 minutes, much less breathe deeply. Thankfully, an instructor convinced me to stay for the end and really feel the restoration and renewal of my practice. I then discovered the magic on my mat! In 2013, I decided to take my practice further and received my 200 hr teaching certification from Dallas Yoga Center. When I’m not on my mat, you can find me with my husband, Cooper and our daughter Jane Isabell, at the ranch feeding cows and riding horses! Or maybe selling houses! I love guiding you through your yoga practice and helping you obtain deeper asanas and breath. I can’t wait to see you at Pav! Agape

TIFFANY WELLS

Instructor

Yoga

Hello my name is Tiffany Wells and I am a yoga instructor at PAV Yoga Brock. I completed my teacher training with Ally last Spring and have been teaching classes for nearly a year. I have a background in dance and have practiced yoga on and off for a couple of decades… not to date myself! I love yoga because movement is so vital to health and mobility. It offers physical strength and flexibility but also self-awareness and mental clarity. Seldom do the two align in a workout space. I love the PAV aligns Christian principles with the practice of yoga, and hearing a Lauren Daigle song during savasana is just good for my soul! My day job is at Lockheed Martin, where I am enjoying the part-time telecommute! In my free time (what is that?) My husband and I were full-time cheer parents, but as the clock keeps ticking on our daughter’s senior year, we are now full-time track parents. Any spare moments after all of that I am likely at church, a college cheer clinic, golfing with our son, trying to sneak away to a hiking trail, or hiding from the world by the pool!

"I started my yoga practice 5 years ago at Pav, where the community Ally has built kept me coming back for more. As a middle school teacher, I needed a place of escape and that's exactly what yoga has become for me. My personal practice is focused on alignment and creating space for myself, two things I hope to share with my Pav'ian friends! Outside the studio, I love watching and talking sports, traveling and reading!

Yoga

I started practicing yoga in 2013, looking for an outlet for stress. I immediately noticed the positive impact yoga had on my mental health and my ability to handle difficult situations. But in 2018, I walked into Pav Yoga on a whim and fell in love with the community. I felt 100% welcome and 100% loved. I truly believe in this community that Ally is building and can't wait to be a part of teaching my fellow yogis. In my free time, I love spending time with my hubby, two boys and yellow lab, Harry. I love being outside, flying airplanes with the hubs, drinking coffee and running.

Kayde - Pav Yoga and Pilates.png

Kayde

Instructor

Yoga & Pilates

Kayde’s yoga journey began in high school with a Rodney Yee yoga video, which she used so much it broke! After a brief hiatus from college, she rediscovered yoga in 2009 and established a regular practice. In 2018, Kayde tried hot yoga for the first time and immediately fell in love. She finds both grounding and growth on her mat, and enjoys exploring the flow in between the poses as a dance. Her favorite poses usually involve arm-balances and inversions, which she loves empowering students to try.

Kayde earned her RYT 200 teaching certification in 2021 in North Carolina. Her reason for teaching is to help others come alive by exploring their own yoga practice in new ways. She believes that the mat is a mirror that reflects who we are in life outside of yoga, and through the practice, we can learn more about ourselves. Her teaching style would be best described as “forget the rules, the yoga police aren’t coming to class, so let’s find your flow!”.

Kayde is also a certified personal trainer and a retired IFBB Professional Fitness Athlete. In her time off the mat, her passions include weightlifting, quilting, cooking and baking, reading, and exploring the US National and state parks with her husband and dogs in their RV.

Rebekah Kimsey

Instructor

YOga

Rebekah discovered Yoga in 2014 after a friend (who spent 7 years trying to talk her into trying yoga) invited her to attend a class.  After that first yoga experience, Rebekah was hooked! Rebekah works as a pediatric cardiac intensive care nurse.  She encourages many types of self-care, with yoga being the primary form. She believes yoga is not about being able to twist one’s body like a contortionist, but rather it is about THE BREATH.  Rebekah believes yoga is for every ‘BODY’.

Rebekah is a 200-hour RYT and has also been certified in Outreach Yoga.

Wendy Oswood Instructor

Yoga

Wendy has been practicing yoga since 2016. In 2018, she found Pav Yoga and the practice to be the perfect combination of stress reliever, fitness program and spiritual growth outlet she didn’t know she was looking for. She is a wife, mother of 2 grown children, and a horseman. Wendy has been a Junior High Science/Art teacher, a photographer, a partner with her husband in their Stallion Station business, and a competitor in the 2022 Mongol Derby. She enjoys horse endurance riding, art, walking her dogs, and clean nutrition. After completing her 200-hour PYTT in 2023, Wendy has fundamental, physical and spiritual growth through the Baptiste Power Yoga body work at Pav and is very excited to share this empowerment with others!

Amy WAllace

Instructor

yoga

I have been a part of the Pav family for almost 6 years, and my only regret is that I didn’t find yoga earlier in life. Away from the mat, I love to hike, camp, paddleboard, roller skate... anything outdoors. I am a retired school teacher, have one daughter who’s married, a dog and a cat, and am eagerly awaiting grandkids. As many of you have discovered, this yoga thing and these yoga people have the power to change your life. BKS Iyengar - “Yoga does not change the way that we see things, it TRANSFORMS the person who sees.” I look forward to facilitating, sharing, growing, and celebrating with you in your transformational journey! See you in the studio. Amy has completed her Baptiste Yoga Instructor training and is a certified Baptiste yoga instructor.

Yoga & Pilates

I am a yoga and pilates instructor who believes in the power of breath and movement to bring you back to yourself. Yoga and Pilates have become such a meaningful part of my life, and I love sharing that passion with others. My classes are a space to come home to yourself, to feel stronger, more confident, and supported. Some of the things I love: spending time with my fur babies, matcha and coffee dates, all things health and wellness, riding my horse, being in the sunshine, running my boutique, traveling, and so much more.

Shauna is an Air Force brat, Aggie, Coach’s Wife, and the proud mother of her one-year-old daughter.
